Yeah. I've seen good deals on 4Runners lately. early 5th gens are a steal nowadays. Before the facelift.

I almost bought a 2010 with 25k miles on it but this one came up for pretty close to the same price. The other one already had lockers though...

Debating on buying stock length TC arms, but theres a lot of other shit i could buy with that $1500. But im pretty worried about my stock LCAs eventually tearing away like pictured here before and overall strength.

    What says you

Do it. Get their racing series stock length. That is my goal when I have the money and a few other mods done

thats my concern, if i bought the stock lengths, while it would hurt initially could potentially save me some trouble in the middle of nowhere.
roughly an inch and a half more ground clearance. The uniball is in the arm instead of an adapter. Lighter as well with the race.

I don't know man. Might be worth it. Do you have skids or anything on your LCAs?

Both look so cool. I love the aftermarket LCA look haha. Would a skid even strengthen an LCA?

both are strong enough for anything i'd ever do. I just cant decide which one i'd spend the money on. Almost want to just say screw it and get the race ones for weight and uniball in the arm. But that price tag kills me.

I meant a skid on a stock LCA. Like are my LCA's strengthened by the skid? Or is it just for rocks?

Eventually I'm going race. But that will be one of the very last things I do.

just for rocks, i dont see how it would strengthen the actual LCA.

Yeah I didn't think so. Just seeing if you could find a cheaper alternative to strengthen your stock ones until you could spring on race ones

I'd do the race ones just for ground clearance

    I will be the 1% .. lol

Swapped out my uniballs on my uppers after pitting (1 year old) and lots of squeaks. 1 wheeling trip later the new ones squeaked as well. Not like I neglected them either, I used tri flow, paste, and some petroleum jelly .. nothing worked. Well fast forward and I come across a nice set of LSK lowers, I put new uniballs in them as well .. a month later and it's all squeaks from all 4 uniballs lol. Nothing I can do about it apparently.
