Post LR uca and 884x question

    Last night i installed LR uca's, 884's and top plate spacer on drivers side on my 2005 dcsb 4x4.

    The uca top bolts are pushed in all the way so the tops of the tires are pushed in as far as they can with them. Problem is the passenger side looks pretty straight up and down, but on the drivers side the top of the wheel is much further out from the bottom...

    Im assuming there are other options to correct this when I take it for an alignment? Also, if I can't adjust this any further how can i drive it like this to settle the springs before thealignment? Im pretty high right now at about 3 inches, so it has to settle about an inch still.     A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
    You need to have the flat part of the ball joint facing out for one, then pull the ball joint all the way outboard instead of inboard. After that you should be good.

    Flat part of the balljoint? Are you talking about the piece that has one side that is rounded and one side flat? If so, that is the way i have it, round side in and flat part out. Won't pulling the balljoint outward bring the top of the tire out more? I actually had it like that right after i completed the lift and it was waaaaay worse.

    What he said, it looks like you have it backward, which seems to be the cause of your issue.

    Yes, do a 180* turn on it, and you'll have it corrected

    Yep, but you still need an alignment , adjusting the nut will get you there, I'm no expert though so be careful lol

    yes, i have lifetime alignment at firestone. i just wanna be able to drive it safely for it to settle before the alignment.

    Also, why I mentioned pulling the balljoint all the way outboard vs inboard like you have, will give you more tire clearance once you have the truck aligned

    The part of that brass coloured " washer " that says SPC on it should face the tire for the +2 neutral caster setting

    I would probably start with that setting and see how it goes at alignment time

    Got it done last night... Only the drivers side was backwards, hence the reason that wheel was really jacked up. I pulled both ujoints outward all the way in the slots and the tires are just a tad out of horizontal (top is a little further out) I have to loosen them both and push them in just a little to get them visually straight up and down so i can drive it for a few days to settle prior to my alignment.

    Bilstein 5100 with 884 Springs. Full audio system. Stealth 6 Wheels. Cali led light.
    Just was wondering why you replaced your UCA on 884 coils. I have 5100's set at 0 and 884 coils and running stock UCA with no alignment problem.
