Yeah, spent a week doing transportation so I'm not fucking around and drinking at the same time. If someone's putting money in my hand then I'm dry except for the occasional early morning pre-bed beer when I do get a few hours for shower/shuteye!

Close! Except that sounds like music I'd pay to see and beer I'd pay to drink, along with good food and other distractions! Haha a lot of these festivals aren't really my scene, although there are definitely some impressive bands and producers scattered throughout the lineups. I really enjoyed Euforquestra, Eoto, and Russ Liquid at SB! Also, I'd never seen Tipper so that was pretty great, sad that I missed Nightmares on Wax. This event surprised me by not having staff drink tickets, I really liked JTree Music Fest for the fact that they were pretty liberal with their kegs of Sierra Nevada!:D
Dude, mystery Hippy rash is a problem!

Both my kids (25 and 21) are big into the hippie-fest scene, Wanderlust, Winterfest etc. The older one goes to Burning Man, too, and in fact is building an mutant vehicle for it (picture of work-in-progress a couple pages ago). Its probably all my fault for taking them to the Strawberry Music Festival twice a year since they were born :)

I sort of grazed this thread earlier and it seems like mostly west coast people. I'm still into it either way

    So my Tacoma is a 2006 4wd.

Beers... I go in phases. I've mostly been loving American pales lately. I mostly drink local stuff. There's a great American pale named Commotion by Great Raft brewing out of Shreveport. It's been my almost daily for the past two years or so. I'm also stuck in this phase of liking ESB's and Irish Reds, with some IPA's mixed in there. My two favorite LeftCoast beers are probably Lagunitas Day Time Ale and Sierra Nevada Pale. I did the Sierra across America tour during ACBW, and all the brews were top notch. I need to make a brew trip out west someday. If any of you guys are familiar with Abita beer, I live in the next town over from them. It's an exciting time to be a beer fan, and I'm hoping to find some kind of employment related to it sometime in the near future.

Music.. I'm not sure if it's my age or what, but I'm stuck in the 90's musically. I grew up listening to classic rock and I just can't seem to stop listening to 90's music. I've been on a Live kick lately. I loved that band so much then, and their music is still great today.

Love me some ZZ Top. None of my friends had heard this one. They all love me for making them listen to it.
