Don't forget @planesane and @Nicklovin I'm in on this for sure. Open invite to all members of coarse. Not sure about everybody else but I like to get going early in the morning. Being on the trail by at least 8am would be great. Remember its hot out there. Think its gonna be 88. Open to whatever works for everybody though. Let me know..

 

What I learned from catching up on all this is I need to do the 4x4 conversion and/or get a locker so I can start exploring Socal more. I've definitely seen more new & out there parts of Socal thanks to TW & unfortunately my little precummer isn't the best for this task

Thinking I'll be standing this one out unfortunately . Although I may be in Norco this upcoming Tuesday, if so I'll probably end up doing a solo run sticking to the main road or joining up with whomever

 

I wouldnt do a 4x4 conversion. Check out some old 4runners and cherokees. Thats on my list to get soon. Need something I can turn into a monster super swamper for 4 wheeling only.

Hahahah no worries I have a million 4x4 ideas in my head. The conversion wouldnt be that expensive though as long as Im patient for good deals on the parts I need. Although I'd defaintely love an old 4x4 to turn into an awesome wheeler eventually , especially an 80s pickup or 4runner with the 22re

I don't dislike jeeps. I've owned two cherokees in my past. All Toyota now though!

I know I know but I'd prefer the the 22re over a 22r, also I can always swap solid axles in down the line which I wouldnt need for a while

 

@Mike likes Tacos it's no surprise you and I agree. We're 4wd for now we both just need some real long travel happiness with cages.

 

I dunno man, 1985 was a lucky year. Last year of the solid front Toyota pickup axle and the year I was born....can't go wrong

 

Cherokees are sweet. But they have to be fully caged or they suck.

My dad's is fun. Towing it to Moab next year.
