Got my Switch-Pro panel back from ORE with updated firmware for bluetooth connectivity to newer wireless devices. Pretty quick turn around for the update. I'm LOVING this system even more now! Bluetooth works about 80 feet in a straight line and battery programed switches can be operated via Bluetooth when the vehicle is off! Camp Security!:laser:

Oh and the wiring harness I made for the ditch lights actually works lol:cool:
I'll post some night pics when the sun goes down.

I mounted the panel to the left of the steering wheel where the small cubby used to be. I picked up some black m4 hex screws for the mount. IMO they look allot better than the chrome Phillips screws it came with. I might flush mount it if I find somebody with a steadier hand than mine to operate the dremel lol.

That seems to be the perfect place....except for my trailer brake controller already lives there.

The sunglass holder is another good spot if you have one. I do not so I went with the cubby. What trailer brake controller are you running? Im needing to pickup one up in the next week and autoanything has another 20 percent sale lol. I was thinking of mounting it under the dash pointing up but not sure if my knees will hit it?

I bought the plain Jane aluminum ones. They look good with the factory alloy wheels.

Hahaha on your trip to Canada did you drive the Coquihalla highway from KelownaBC to meritt BC to get to Vancouver? If you thought 20 over was bad you should see that highway it's literally the autobahn of the North

    Pending....
    getting ready to install BFG KO2 285/70/17's on my SCS 17" Ray10's with a 2.5 " lift/level! On my 2016 TRD OR 2wd.

I wanted the tires and rims to be as flush as can but the shop guy said that because of the SCS Ray10 and the Offset: -10mm, the rims would stick out past the fender flare about 1 1/2 to 2"'s. He said no matter what size tires the rims will stick out past flares.

I cant figure out what they would look like after install, I just don't like tires on trucks that go way out past the wheel wells!

Other then that, what would be the largest size tire for that rim, without a lift all stock!

My commute is roughly the same and before I put the bigger tires on I averaged around 22. If I babied it and stayed in the right lane I could get about 26. I didn't buy my truck for good mileage but have been happy with it. After I calibrate it for the new tires we'll see.

Maybe you and @x487041 drive below 60mph 85% of the time? I can't explain otherwise.

I have an easy commute that's mostly freeway and typically keep it under 70. If you want good mileage that's pretty much the only way to get it. If you drive that way and still get bad mileage than there is probably something wrong. I'm not an expert this is just my opinion.

Just give up man. I've read these forums long enough. Some people get it, others do not. I agree. I read a sticker on the window of my 40K truck that stated an EPA estimated MPG. I have realized that they come up with those numbers based on a flat blacktop road, zero wind, with a 95lb woman driving the truck. Reality is, advertised torque is north of 4K RPMs along with advertised HP. Gears 5 and 6 are WORTHLESS unless going downhill or with the wind at your back. 4th gear is a 1:1 gear and is the highest realistic highway gear. Actual hwy MPG should have been stated at 15-16MPG. Sure, tires, lift, fat kids, full tank, all things to consider. Reality: This truck, in certain conditions, will get good MPG. Other conditions (driving like a normal person, typical changes in elevation AKA:hills, wind, mods, etc) the truck can barely get 16 MPG. I'm done arguing about it. I've owned 3 tacomas (all three gens) and a tundra. I know "its a truck, if you wanted speed and performance and good MPG t you should have bought a car". yeah, I got it. I bought a 278HP V6 truck that is supposed to get MPG better than 20. I didn't get that. Yes, I test drove it. But I didn't put 6 tanks of gas in it and drive to the grocery store or take a 4 hour road trip. Maybe I had a boner for the sweet new truck and didn't pay attention to shitty performance because I was so excited climate control was finally avilable after being invented a half century ago. Whatever.

Point is, if you want to drink a beer and bitch about performance with this stupid passenger car engine and tranny, I'm you're guy. I'll even buy. If you're looking for a bunch of TW folks to agree with you... that ain't gonna happen here. Just give up. Let me know if you want to get that beer. I'll bring my gas card, and a jerry can.

    werd.

Drives 85mph above sea level on cruise control and expects good mileage... you're an idiot. It's at 3500rpm because it's in 4th gear trying to maintain that speed, it isn't a glitch, it's you overworking the truck and it trying to maintain 85mph dead on so it needs throttle response and torque, therefore it's in 4th.
