Does anyone else have the issue where when you start up your car the audio will skip and sound like it cant catch up to where it left off?

I have a new 2016 TRDOR and have had the issue the past few weeks. No matter if im using my personal android or my "drug dealin" work Iphone. No I dont make enough to be a drug dealer.
    =(

Do you have both phones paired to the truck and with you at the same time it happens?

I have both phones but Bluetooth is only on on one of them. If I disconnect Bluetooth and then reconnect it'll work fine. Just occasionally when I get in and turn the truck on it'll do the stuttering.

It's super frustrating wasn't sure if I was the only one. For example didn't happen when I got in the truck this afternoon but it did this morning.

Is this when trying to access your music library from the phone to stream from it or is it the radio, XM station or USB input skipping?

If it's the music library from the phone it might be you're hearing an interrupt as it initializes the connection while trying to play your library at start up.

Mine started this in my 15 recently. Also, when my phone isn't connect but my wife's iPod is, it will just be a blank page on song info a lot of times. I just reboot the radio and it works.

Only happens over Bluetooth and when I start the radio and it tries to pick where it left off. I listen to audio books while I'm at work or driving to see family and it happens when I do that. Now using entune Bluetooth apps is another pain in the a$$ all together.

Hold it down until the whole screen goes black and begins to reset

Sounds like it might be a momentary synch issue when establishing contact at first boot up. Try a commanded software update on your phone first to see if it resolves it. Sometimes the Entune might update itself but you may need to update your phone also dependent on your privacy settings whether you allow auto updates or not.

Mine did the same thing the first time I paired it with my iPhone. I deleted the connection and re-paired it and haven't had the issue since (9 months).

So this seems to work at least first time I've gotten in the truck since deleting the Bluetooth from my phone repairing it back up. Let's see how long it lasts.

Each time I get in my truck I turn off my bluetooth on my phone and then turn it back on and let it reconnect. No issues after that but I have to do this each time I get in my truck which is kinda annoying.

Probably until the next update is installed for either your phone or the head unit.

I was running my iPhone and iPod through Bluetooth and had this problem when starting the truck up...skipping around with music and I'd have to turn off Bluetooth on my device, and turn back on then it would do fine. Now, I dropped the iPod from my trucks settings and now only run iPhone...no problems now. Seems like the truck was confused or competing over which source to pair up with.
Note: my wife's 2015 Rav4 has some of these same issues. Have to start up car with usb connected to phone to get better results.
