4 runner got some almost new shoes today. Picked up some 275/70R17 Cooper ST MAXX tires from a guy. He ran them for 1k. @teamhypoxia now you need to get them for the Sienna!

 

Clear lake is blocked at the last switchback, I was there Sunday. Today it rained up high from 12.30 to 2, and should repeat for the next 3-5 days, but the snow was about 4 ft deep on the switchback.

 

Thanks for this info, was going there tomorrow. When you say last switchback, do you mean on the steeper part of the accent? Where many people hike from. Last year we locked up and easily went through but it was only a foot or so.
By the way did you here someone rolled Just south of Black bear this past Saturday evening?

 

The last switchback is 4 or 5 turns above where people park to hike to Ice Lakes. It is several feet deep on the hillside, nearly a foot deep on the low side of the next turn down. Raining in the afternoon now, so it will soften soon. Didn't hear about a rollover, but we had a motorcycle death on CoalBank on Sunday evening. I was at Silverpick this afternoon and it was pounding for an hour or so.

 

Small town, I knew him many years ago, real bummer. Although I dont remember passing them on the way home, we were returning at the time that they would have been heading up. Startling, those roads are not forgiving and certainly no need for speeding.

 

Certainly no where to speed on CB Pass with Summer traffic all over.

 

The sienna is NOT 4WD

 

Does it matter?

@SilverGhost maybe you could shoot corey a text. Last communication I had with him he asked me if he should go and make the sliders and if I had paypal. I told him yes to both, and what email to send the paypal to. Sent him another email asking when I need to pay. Haven't heard back in a week now.
