Thank you I do too. Waiting on the 2017 TRD Pro grill though. if it's reasonably priced, I may grab one.

Didn't come out great but you get the idea. Paint is having a very hard time sticking to the smooth plastic even after sanding it before I painted it.

Thanks for sharing the pic. Is that a CR125 or 250? Building it into a super moto?

Great call about being able to fit it into the garage, didn't even think of that! That alone made my decision for me, as it would be too tight to fit with a long bed. Thanks for the suggestions!

    No worries, enjoy!

I'd love to put mine in the garage but my project car is in there taking up all the room. I'm not sure if it would fit anyway, but the long bed is what I want/need so driveway it is!

No problem! Its actually CRF450 on which i locked up the motor while doing a 2-day track sessions with sport bikes :( I was excited about having it all SUMOed out that i didn't have proper sprockets on it which ended up putting a lot of grunt on the engine when it was on the straight aways. So the engine has been sitting on the table in the garage slowly coming apart. Sucks having a full-time job and having hobbies :'(

Yes, it is. I really love the look of it especially with the magnetic gray.

Damn, that sucks man. How were you doing with it on the track? I know they are a blast on the twisties! Yea, full time job makes enjoying hobbies difficult but once you add wife and kids to the mix - man that can make it even tougher!

I've been reading this forum for a few months now, waited 7 weeks for the truck to show up and I love it.
The MGM thread hooked me - thanks OP.
I've had it about a week and a half, installed the lift this past Saturday, which was my first ever attempt at
a lift and I learned a lot that wasn't in the instructions and the YouTube videos...that's another story, and
next time I will get some help but the challenge was awesome.

Tire and wheel install Monday (yesterday) followed by the alignment.

A big thanks to the following for ideas and thoughts on this build:
    • @JoeRacer302 for the lift 101 discussion
    • @BigRed42 for helping me decide on the matte gunmetal FN wheels
    • @Taco Luvr for building the perfect truck including the Leer 100XR, BFG KO2 275/70R17 I stole
    • @Universallsg for the first lifted MGM with KO2s that made me decide to jump into the lift game
That being stated this whole forum is a very cool society of helpful, awesome, and entertaining individuals
ranging from seasoned journeyman mechanics to dinosoldiers.
