still more protection than what I have now... If I hit a Deer as the truck sits.. the truck is toast. I'm also not bombing through shit like you guys.. so busting a skid is unlikely. bend and smash... probably, but I would prefer the aluminum to give and absorb the impacts, not transfer them. plus no upkeep, the looks of raw aluminum is just sexy.. and.. yes.. I am most definitely trying to stay as light as possible..

Aluminum front and skids.. rear steel w/ swingout.. thats the plan.

I know buddy.. it really is just different strokes.

I just like the weight savings.. and aluminum just gives me a chub.. lol Been making a lot of stuff from solid aluminum at work lately.

The rear has to be steel to support the swingout. nobody makes a rear aluminum.. besides Aluminess.. which they are.. just ugly.

Mr. Bear is 14 and same thing with him. I just see him slowing down and withering away like an old man. Sucks that dogs don't live very long.

Buddys decline was very sudden and fast. But his last days were good, he ate like a king and spent a lot of time with his family and then it was time. He went quickly and quietly at the vet.

Man all this dog talk made me come home and give mine a hug, and some love. She's going on 13-14 range corgi/Aussie mix I rescued when she was about 3 months old. She's been with me thru it all in life and it has always been nice to have that unconditional love from her. It was always a wish of mine that she was around to see my first born and have always hoped they would have a few good years together, so far that has happened with my daughter being 3 months old now, hoping for a good few years together and my daughter can share in the relationship of what a great little fur kid she's been for my wife and I. When it's her time I just hope I made her life as enjoyable and special as she's been apart of mine.

I've been sitting in my office all day with a bunch of co-workers 'testing'. Which means they all talk about politics and I browse TW because fuck politics.

Great looking dog! I wish I could get a pic of all my dogs in one shot, but getting 6 dogs to sit still is almost impossible.

Our admired and often spoiled dogs. I have two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels and they get more attention and love than lots of kids. We take good care of them but there would be a limit on expense if they needed something costing thousands of dollars. We lost our 12 year old Springer Spaniel last December. She was a good gal and it was tough to loose her.

You can add the Alpine power amp to the stock HU/Speakers. Those paper cone speakers will be toast shortly after that amp is added.

If you replace the speakers with something aftermarket your HU won't push them.

What I suggest for people who want to keep the stock HU, AND IS NOT adding a sub, is to replace all of your mids/highs and then get the Alpine Power Pack.

    OR

Replace the HU with aftermarket and let the new HU's built in amp push your stock speakers. They can take it as long as you are not generating distortion with the aftermarket HU.

    Alpine Power Pack.
