Just hit 140k in the Taco today, would like the insight of Tacoma World on what I am to expect in the miles to come. I know in my heart she will run to at least 300k as long as I keep up with general maintenance!20160629_163754.jpg

Im about to roll over on 200k the only major things i've done so far are brakes (front at 125k) and (rear at 150k), new starter & alternator(alternator was still functioning fine but i had one leave me high and dry in an FJ cruiser at 165k, so i changed this out proactively) around 160k, new drive belt at 125k and 192k, as well as routine power steering, brake, and transmission flushes when i take the truck in for maintenance. Also i still have the original clutch in mine but that is because it has a large number of highway miles on it, so ill need one in the future, but not too sure when. Also, i started using Mobil 1 Full synthetic for high milage vehicles, picture of that below. I originally used Mobil 1 full synthetic but ive been having trouble with my truck burning a quart or so between changes so I switched to this for the higher heat protection as well. Also i use Bosch D3330 filters and have had good results with those.

Edit: Also replaced three U-joints and have replaced three wheel hub/bearings as well.

None, but I did notice the other day, a little buildup of oil and it looks like it's coming from the crankshaft seal. Not enough to even show up on a dipstick or form a drop on the ground though.

I'm at 142k and have a waaaayyy long list of parts replaced. Are these pavement princesses? AC leaks behind dash, wheel bearing, clutch master cylinder, clutch, gear syncros (bought it used at 60k so I don't know how hard it was used), LCA bushings, UJ, front drivers seat, cd changer is broke, two rear seat belts rusted. This was 1st year (05) production so not sure if that has something to do.

Mine is a pavement princess! Hoping to get to 200k (and beyond) as trouble free as possible. Only 194,500 miles to go. Congrats OP, love these threads!

Mine is an 05 with 147k. Replaced the battery twice, rebuilt the drive shaft, And just replaced the upper control arms and have it in the shop for some odd suspension noise. Added a 3" lift last year and redid the exhaust. Besides some squeaks it looks and rides great.
