Do not want. Yeah the diesel is cool but do you really need a diesel land cruiser? Not too mention they never imported them here so if anything goes wrong with it where are you going to get parts. Oh you broke down while camping? Forget about bumming a ride too town for parts. Nobody is going to have anything you need. Your will be having it shipped in from Japan.

Actually replacing the HU in the WRX is about as simple as a early Honda Civic. I did Jamie's WRX and it didn't take more than 2 hours.

I second the power pack if you don't want to go all out. I went crazy in my truck and did an all out system but I've always had subs in all of my vehicles in the past. I'm planning on having this truck for a very long time so I figured make it good for the long haul.

Do any of you know someone that does interiors? I want to get katzkin for my seats but I'm terrified of trying to install myself.

First mod to car/truck for me is a full stereo/sound deadening before I do anything else. I can't live without my stereo's.

Oh I've scoped out your audio build awhile back. Very clean install and the Mr.Marv box is great choice as that man knows how to build a sub box.

My only suggestion is to sound deaden the entire truck, or just go for the doors at the minimum. Our doors are so thin that most of the bass is lost in the mid range due to the door flex. It literally changes the entire sound of your truck after deadening. Your mids will really come to life after it's done. I suggest to use Raamaudio for sound deadening material.

If you are ever interested in tuning your system with an oscilloscope let me know. It's the only way to truly push your system to it's max and know that you are not damaging your speakers.

Thabks man!! I did actually do some sound deadner on all 4 doors. I didn't go as crazy as some do, I just strategically placed some on the biggest panels and around the speaker mounts themselves. I would love to tune it with an oscilloscope. I'm going to be making a couple small changes to the setup soon so when I'm done with that I will hit you up on that for sure.

 Just let me know. It's really fun to tune with an O-Scope. I love seeing how far I can push equipment. The only issues is my O-Scope can't really tun 500watts or more on the subwoofer. I can see most of the sine wave to get it close enough.

Gotta wait till it's not 400 degrees outside. Too hot to be installing sound deadening.
