You should've seen what I was driving before my Tacoma, I'm sure you would've loved it @DCSBFTMFW

Seems your plans for your truck have, shall we say, evolved.
Post pics of the tire carrier/RTT clearance when you get a chance.

I had a FlipPac on my previous truck (sold, wouldn't fit my current Taco). It was far from perfect but I've seen and opened/closed and lay down in the Habitat, and it is very nice. Depending on how you outfit your truck bed (cabinets or not) and how much stuff you can leave outside while you sleep, you can have two adults sleeping upstairs in the Habitat, and two kids in the bed. The FlipPac/Habitat "flip over" design is incredibly usable and versatile ... and when not used for camping, it has more interior volume than almost any shell, due to its boxy shape. I'm not quite ready to write the check, and don't want to miss this summer camping season, so I bought a RTT, but I see a Habitat in my future. BTW my wife likes the RTT but loved the FlipPac.

Drove the new truck to work today... came home to find the Camaro broken into. :(

There was nothing in it to steal ... but would have been nice if they didn't break my hatchback latch along their way.

Super enthused to know that people break into cars in broad daylight even on the good side of town.... wheee.
