Truck Camping Photo Thread

I signed up but never go. My dog is not into playing much. When I take her there she just wants to point all the birds.

 

Friend that came to Big Sur with us just sent me a video of the trip he made. It's amazing and definitely belongs here, because it has trucks and camping

Thank you! It's Bottchers Gap Campground at the end of Palo Colorado Rd off HWY 1. First come first serve paid campground. Luckily we were the only ones there earlier in the year, but it might be a little more crowded now. Still a gorgeous spot!

Any trails or spots you recommend over in mammoth?

Last weekend we camped near the Mogollon Rim in AZ. I slept in the hammock while my wife and kids slept in her parents' trailer.

We were 4 miles from the Rim.

 

What did you do with the pup while you biked? is she a trail dog?

 

I always take her on bike rides while at home so she was fine leashed and following. I just went a bit slower due to the elevation there.

 

fair enough. I haven't ever taken mine riding on trails so I would have to either leaver her in the tent or in the bed of the truck. neither of which works out well in the summer haha

 

Awesome camping and camping buddy! Boxers are by the far the best breeds...(might be a little biased)...

 

Do you use it as a tent to sleep in? I'm considering this for me and my fiancé instead of an rtt for the time being.

 

Hey everyone, been thinking about getting and arb awning and pairing it up with an enclosed room and using it as our tent. We live in Florida so we won't encounter any crazy weather. It seems like a great setup for me, my fiancé and our 100lb lab. Has anyone had any experience with a setup similar to this?
