    :notsure:
Thanks Sandz. Those ditch lights are OZ-USA and work pretty damn good, in my humble opinion.:thumbsup: The dust, at times, got super thick and it really helped "seeing through" that dust. Also, LOL, there were times where I was clearly "off-trail" in some of the washes that we crisscrossed and I ended up making my own "trail", ROFL!!! That was my first time offroading at night like that and it is a TOTALLY different experience!!!;) It made me realize that, even that much more, you as a driver, need to "stay focused" and try not to lose the "original trail/tracks"!!! :goingcrazy::frusty::notsure: I mean, I was focused, but there were certain spots on the trail where it wasn't pretty F'N obvious either!!!:notsure: My friend up front and my friend behind me were spread far apart at times. My friend behind me, well, I surely wasn't going too fast, sooooo pi$$ breaks for him maybe, LOL!!!:rofl::rofl: Anyways, a good run, and a whole different experience with the night-time driving for sure!!!

@ODNAREM Ron, I can hardly wait to use those trail books of ours!!! There is one trail that you take, located near the ranger station, that has a "one way" downhill, SUPERSOFT sand decline and you have to keep your wheels straight, pretty much at all times!!! My point being, it can get pretty sketchy if you aren't too familiar with what is up ahead!!! I think you and a few others have learned that one from Cleghorn. We all had CB's running and it was perfect for veh-to-veh comms. Why people are insistent on the HAM radios, I don't know? Not like you can use a repeater if you are not licensed???!!! Believe me when I say this, you WILL get a hefty fine if cought TX'ing!!! Personally, I don't agree with and/or encourage it, but I can't stop someone either from using it, other than give them a fair warning!!! :notsure: Besides, CB is just as good as the HAM radios because, again, since you can't legally use a repeater, you're going to get roughly the same distance, if not less, depending on your radio/antenna setup!!! AND, having a CB is sooooo much easier because there are only 40ch(s) and you don't have to worry about what freq, out of HUNDREDS OF, to choose from!!! So, I don't know what gives with the HAM craziness if any given person doesn't even have a license??? :notsure: I have a license, but for different reasons. I also have a CB and I can tell you that CB's on a trail are more than adequate and much, MUCH easier to have to deal with. We all agreed to be on ch32 that night, DONE!!! If you forgot the channel or accidentally somehow switched, there are only 39ch(s) left!!! A person can get pretty F'N screwed if they are OFF by a few MHz with a HAM radio if something was to accidentally get pressed!!! The obvious thing to do would be to write down the frequency being used, but not everything is "obvious" until after the fact?! Hindsight is 20/20!!! But hey, don't listen to me about it, right!!! LOL, ROFL, LMAO!!!:rofl::rofl:
