Now that all this has came about I am hearing it backing out of my drive way. It's a very steep driveway and a really flexes the chassis coming in and out. Guess I should check mine now just to be sure.

Interesting. I've never done it on mine. I guess I should check it out. I suppose I need a deep socket from looking at the picture. Anyone know what size?

I was able to get away with a regular wrench. I think I used a 7/16 in? Deep socket would of been better but I didn't have one on hand.

Do they unbolt from the top or the bottom? Some threads I'm looking at show people going in from the top. I'm confused.

    EDIT: Nevermind, found this. http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old/files/tsb/Cab_Mount_Bolt_TSB.pdf

So a quick update, I slid under the truck this morning with a long handle 3/8" ratchet and was able to Get 3-4 turns on 3 of the 4 cab mounts. I did not here any noise backing out of my drive way afterwards.

Sub'd for when I get home from this holiday vacay. I've got a clunk I'm trying to find and I think the answer is in here. Gotta love TW

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
Just resolved my clunking sound. After taking a wrench to pretty much every accessible nut and bolt under the truck I found the following:

Both front cab mount bolts were 2 full turns loose: tightened and torqued to 34lbft
Passenger side outer tie rod castle nut was 3/4 turn loose and I had audible popping when tugging on the tie rod: tightened and no more pop when tugged.

Both torx bolts in the front of the bed were 1 1/2 turns loose.

Test drove and all noises are gone

Tightened both cab bolts and took her around the block. Did sharp turns both directions and full circles in culdesacs. Put it in reverse and cut it both directions hard. Only noise I got was some rubbing at extreme angles but I'm used to that. I'll be ready to call it "fixed" after my ride to the gym tomorrow. It always clunks pulling in and out of the parking spot there for some reason. If I don't hear it then, it was a success!
