OK, now that's comparing apples to apples! So an AP bumper delivered would be 2X the cost. The big question then is build quality. If that's equal then AP has their work cut out. And yeah, for those with the means it's also a decision whether to support US/local companies. IMHO it's always good to have options as a consumer, and competition is good for the market in terms of pricing but also product innovation and how to demonstrate quality building practices.

Agree. While it would be nice if it was cleaned up I do not and will never expect mods to clean it up. Lock it take it over and adjust first post or two sure.
I gave up after reading 37 pages. Then to come back to 90 135 now 200. Not a chance lol

200 pages and only 2 bumpers delivered and only 1 person got screwed out of $600? That's not that bad of odds here. Group buy?

    Cheap ebay bumper, plus others
To be clear, if referencing me, I have not been screwed out of anything. I have no worries of being screwed out of anything.

I have worries of not receiving a bumper, but not of losing my money.

    Check The Build Thread
I bought all my AP armor during a "free shipping" promo which I waited for because I knew a 1500lb pallet wasn't going to be cheap to send. Not knocking anybody who sees the value in the eBay bumper but I've got No Ragrets on paying what I did for what I've got...and part of that is piece of mind that the bumper is what it says it is and built the way it was intended to be built. I expect all my AP armor to perform without issue and I have no doubts it will endure whatever I put it through...I gladly paid the "premium" for that piece of mind.

Again, not knocking the eBay bumper (unless it's a total blatant ripoff of AP without APs knowledge) or those who buy it. I sincerely hope the eBay bumper performs how you expect it to and you remain happy with your purchase, because that's all anybody can expect when they spend their hard-earned money.

Also, I mentioned before that there are too many differences (other than looks) between the eBay bumper and an APex bumper that I highly doubt these are being produced by or in partnership with AP...but I could be wrong (but I doubt I am). :notsure:

No but for real, is anyone going to blatenly say these welds (granted im not a professional and they are under powder coat) look similar to the ones of the All Pro? Because everyone is dancing around the fact and no one seems to be it saying upright, but it looks to me like All Pro is out sourcing their bumpers just the same as these. How these came about, well, there are many theories. But as stated before there's a connection here and the master Tacoma World detectives I'm sure could figure something out. They look into an OP and won't look into a vendor?

My sliders are All Pro and I love them. @Tracy@All-Pro Off Road has been nothing but awesome to me in buying them, on Instagram and on this forum. However, stop dancing around the idea All Pro is outsourcing and someone look into it. There are some pro detectives here.

Edit: If this gets answered the "cheaply made bumper" argument will finally be ultimately swung one way and we can get over it. Would it be cheaply made if its the exact same bumper as All Pro? Are you going to be swaded because they put their name on it? Or are you actually going to stick to its cheaply made? How would it differ if it was the a different product? Say King put their name on Rancho shocks, would the Ranchos be good quality because they say King? What if Rancho bought King and marketed their (King's) coilovers, that were the exact same as they were before, as Ranchos? Would they be low quality then? (questions not directed at anyone, just broad questions)

Honestly, if All Pro, after this whole thing has started to unfold (I know they posted a while back once) just came out and said "we have no affiliation with this company, all of our products are still produced in house" being the stand up company/people they seem to be myself and most people here would take them at their word.

Edit #2: realized how gross the first pic was... updated, lol.

Trail gear was the original knock off when they copied Marlin.

It's amazing that people are willing to buy one of these, strip it, and possibly reweld it instead of buying a reputable product in the first place.

Also, companies just getting into the market regularly offer stuff at near-cost (and by looking at that powder coating job, it appears they didn't have to spend much on that part of the bumper) to get their name out. Don't expect these to continue to go for $600.

I finally caught up to the end. Which is the present. But when I wake up it'll be the past, and the end will again be in the future.

Either way, I've read every single post so far. I don't know why. But I can honestly say that it wasn't worth it. I will still continue to read every post until its locked or dead, but my eyes seriously hurt from reading this much on my phone.

God damn it patchy, get on with the fucking Apple already. Or the avocado as previously suggested.

Welcome will be eagerly waiting. Might I suggest you update the OP when you get it/install it so we don't have to dig thru the bs to find it. I got lucky today and clicked the newest page haha

Edit: nvm, you're not OP. Has OP gotten his yet??
