Bulb Sizes 2016 *please post yours*

Yeah the map lights were a pain butt. I wrap the light with ta I wrap the light with electrical tape and pulled straight down like pull electrical tape and pulled straight down like it used to up out a tooth.

I am now looking into LEDs for my fog lights

 

So the fogs will fit an h11 or an h16? Depending on if you want wide or normal coverage?

 

Yes I just put in H11 Philips Led fogs. 6k they are plug and play and easy to install yourself as there is a lot of room to get to the bulbs.

 

Are the fog lights type 1 or 2?

 

They would be type 2 I believe since the stock ones were h16

 

What's the difference between H11 and H16?

 

Just the brightness out put. I highly recommend the Philips H11 LED. Very good quality and will match the 6k HID's if you go with those for your low beams.

 

H11 is a 55W bulb and the H16 is a 19W bulb .... also keep in mind the Tacoma trucks with the H11 fog lights have glass lenses and the Tacoma trucks with the H16 fog lights have plastic lenses

I have glass lenses on mine.

 

I have the 2016 SR5 4X4 has the H16 (19W) fog lights with plastic lenses ... the H11 (55W) fog lights have glass lenses

 

Do you have the H11 fog lights? Are you positive your lenses are glass .. mine looked like glass till i took bezels off to install Lamin-X yellow film and then realized they were plastic
I didn't think any SR's came with the 55W H11 fog lights ??

 

Mine didn't come with fogs at all. I bought glass housings and the factory panels and installed them myself.

Just oem replacements, nothing fancy. I like the stock look. I wired it in with a factory 2015 dash mount switch and factory under hood wiring. This picture was more to show the grill emblem. Spent 3 weeks stripping the chrome to raw plastic and painted it MGM.

Is anyone running LED lights in place of the stock H11 in the projector? If so, what lights are you using and how well do they project at night?

 

Just added these 7443 Halo ( Y-402 ) yellow bulbs to my DRL to match my Nokya hyper yellow fogs with the Lamin-X yellow film
They are a dual filament bulb and work perfect just like the oem amber bulbs but yellow ... picture don't do them justice
