FS: 2005-2011 Morimoto Mini D2S HID BHLM Retrofit Headlights

Up for sale are a set of retrofitted headlights by A7xschecter6661 at InSight Retrofits. They are less than two months old and in fantastic condition. The housings are TYC aftermarket headlights and all of the internals have been painted satin black. The paint is amazing and the lenses are in perfect condition, these lights are basically brand new! I'm only selling because I decided to go a different direction.

Anyway, here are all of the details I could think of about the headlights:

05-11 Tacoma D2S HID Retrofit Headlights:

- Satin Black Painted Bezel and Reflectors
- Morimoto Mini 3" Round D2S Projectors from TRS
- Chrome Orbit Shrouds from TRS
- Clear Smoked Corner Lens (no amber)
- Morimoto XB35 5500K D2S bulbs
- Osram 66240 4150K D2S bulbs (bonus OEM style bulbs)
- NO WIRING or BALLASTS (see notes below)
- Asking $400 plus shipping

To install these lights you will need to purchase a set of Morimoto XB35 D2S Ballasts and a MotoControl Bi-Xenon H4 Wiring Harness from TRS. I've embedded links for easy reference.

The Osram bulbs aren't CBIs, just the OEM 4150K bulbs.

Ahh, I read osram 66240 and immediately thought cbi. Didn't even read the 4150k lol

 

No big deal. And yeah, the CBIs are in my FX-Rs right now.

And if you do, pick them up on Amazon. I got mine for $91.23 shipped with Prime. Way cheaper than the $160 TRS wants and I was able to authenticate them using the label number and serial numbers so I know they are legit.

What fog light bulbs do you have? Free bump from one Cincinnati guy to another!

 

The fog light bulbs are Opt7 H10 CREE 5000K LED bulbs I bought on Amazon for around $30 shipped. The output isn't quite as bright as the stock halogens but as you can see in the picture above, the color matches my HIDs much better.

HIDs are totally worth it! I'm only selling these because I upgraded to FX-R projectors in my OEM Sport housings. After driving my Tacoma with retrofits I'll never go back to halogens.
