I hate that I always have about 6 half full bottles and not one full one.

We have a 10 lbs. tank and the camper came with a 5 lbs. tank. People see it and think it's "cute", but it's equivalent to 10 green bottles and costs less than $3 to fill.

I bought a 10 pounder last night. I also got a nozzle converter so I can use the colman bottles if I run out on a trip.

5 lb FTMFW. 12 days of Utah blasting the Partner stove, only topped it up once.

That swap-ability is a good thing. Do you have a gauge on your fitting (tank valve)?

Nope. If i need to check it, I typically just pour hot water on the side of the tank. I also have 2 green cans in the tongue box just in case.
That and even if I suspect it's low, I'll put the used one up with my house BBQ grill and burn the rest of it off with normal home cooking and put a new tank on the trailer.

Gotta figure out how to convince the wife to move, just so I have space to build and store a trailer.

So this past weekend was the first time I was able to get the wife out for a overnight camping trip with the kids. I did not have enough room for all the shit I wanted to bring cuz the back seats were takin up by the kids. I told the wife WE need a trailer, she said ha. My heart still hurts.bitch

Come camping with my family. It's like the $20,000 ride in a trophy truck...but for glamping. Once she sees how happy the kids and wife are of having an outdoor Hilton, you'll get the blank check.

my wife is either rare or baiting me because she loves tent camping and is all about the RTTs and other trailers. Shes cool with my spending until/unless it affects our normal daily life.
