Ehh there are certain vehicles that can be done but I just stick to Tacomas (I've done a couple tundras, scions & corollas)

    Yea I'm in Ontario.
    Let me know sir!

Thanks for the great write up! I finally did the LEDs this weekend and it turned out freaking awesome, looks much better in person! Should've did this years ago!

I spent about 5 hours total from taking the dash apart, soldering and putting it all back together. I also took my time soldering ensuring it had a clean connection and not to burn anything.

Update: After a few nights of driving, I looooove the gauges but the "warning" lights are too bright and not dimmable. I used the blue LEDs from Oznium and changed the Blinkers "Headlights On" "Maint Req'd" "TPMS" and "Cruise." I'll see if I can get a pic of these compared to the factory "Bright Headlights On" which is much more tolerable. I might try putting some tint behind the gauge face before I start swapping in new LEDs.

I run full synthetic oil beyond 5k miles and usually leave the Maint light on to remind me, but I may have to reset it now. I can also fix the TPMS light which solves half of the problem.

    Looks good sir.
Also I do agree with that...they cannot be dimmed as to they are warning lights
So normally I never change those out for people for that reason and a red/amber light is more noticeable on a blue dash than a blue light

Sounds like fun! I'll be doing a full teardown of the rear for painting and then a full torque check on the whole truck for Pismo next weekend!

soooooo....i bought a 2016 radio and of course me being me, i opened it up and found that the leds are 1000x easier to swap on the radio than on the 2nd gens

with that being said i shall be ripping apart the rest of my friends 3rd gen tacoma next weekend to start a new thread and start changing lighting on the 16s

right now it is like turquoise blue but will be installing white/green to match the rest of my truck

Need to do a cluster led on a 09 Tacoma from the orange to blue. I want to keep the gauge needles red. I have the led's from oznium.
I live in San Diego, so I can drive and wait while you do it.
