I'll get some more/better pics this weekend.

Any ideas on how to protect my airbox until I pickup a snorkel? I'm thinking of just bending the tube back into the engine bay and using cheesecloth as a prefilter. should be better in terms of avoiding a hydrolock, albeit increasing intake air temp..

So my light bar cable goes down the driver side water channel of the windshield. I silicone it in place and it isn't touching the windshield so no worries of scraping it loose. Been there for over a year now. So you would be fine.

That being said I need to replace my windshield now so I will have to remove it, clean it up, and re-silicone it after they put the new glass in. That part kind of sucks.

Putting it in the eine bay is really your only option for now. Truck looks great man.

You can't see it in the channel. Mine looks like rubber molding for the windshield.

sounds like a plan! looking good largely thanks to you! So glad I was persuaded into 315s over 255/285s. Build thread is coming soon. I've been meaning to put one together for a while, now that i'm actually making lots of progress I figure I have no choice but to track it here!

I did this to my whole house. It's a super easy job, especially that small of an area.

    Get a long handled scraper.
Spray the popcorn texture with water as you go. You can get it pretty wet. (I used one of those herbacide sprayer contraptions you can buy at Home Depot)
Then scrape. It will come off in huge sheets and peels rather than make an awful dusty mess with poor results.

Mask off the area where you are spraying, eg hang plastic down the walls, cover the floor, etc.
Rent a hopper from Home Depot. They have the ones where you can set the texture on the spray nozzle (set it to orange peel).
Either buy the premade mixture (not too expensive for your small area) or dilute joint compound appropriately.
    Spray texture onto ceiling.

    Done.

Love his truck. Pretty sleeper looking for its capabilities.

Not going to put the new wheels on the old tires. It'll happen soon enough.

Finally have some free weekend time I think. Let me know if you want to get that winch wired up. Also planning on heading up north one day and see how the trails are looking with @Night Eagle

    :luvya:

    It's Mystic Gold Metallic....

....but isn't a big reason it's sleeper looking the old man tan?

You know what grinds my gears? When people list parts on CL for obscene prices. Like stock trd shocks with 30k miles for 300$. wtf? I mean, they are almost worthless after 30k right? If anything 100$ tops i would think. I dont even want to buy them, just an observation. Rant end. hehe
