I meant the tag for ToyTec. I wouldn't have went that route, they're only involved as a vendor. No reason they should eat any cost to fix this.

OP can afford $100 to fix this series of bad decisions, and that's a cheap life lesson for a kid driving a $30k truck while making minimum wage, and still has the money available to buy lift equipment and pay a shop to install it in the first place.

Would be cool if they tossed a deal out, but if they said no already, there certainly isn't any financial hardship going on.

this shouldnt be taking this much input man.

have the shop put it back to stock specs or the best they can. you dont pay a dime. life lesson learned. you may have to pocket the new shock, take it to a better place or get TW ppl to help and problem solved. idk how old you are but I would not have left that shop the first time after they said it was broken, without them understanding they will fix it, pay for ALL expenses, and I never come back. period. This situation is so in your favor its not even funny. I wish I could do it for you.

How in the world did you afford a 2014 TRD Off Road while working a minimum wage job? When I was a teenager, I had a 15-year-old vehicle with over 200,000 miles on it.

    Not enough...
Just leave a bunch of random reviews

"Service sucked. My burger was cold. Buns were soggy. 1 star"

"Waited in line all day, but they ran out of stickers. Worst strip club ever. If I could give 0 stars I would"

"Never been here, but I heard this place sucks"

"Even Bar Rescue could not help this place!"

QFT I drove a POS for nearly first 10 years I had a license. Here I am almost 28 and still never owned a vehicle worth more than $10k. OP ain't hurting if he is a kid. But what drew you the conclusion he was a kid? I've only read the first and last pages

I didn't say any of that.

I said you can afford $100.

    You obviously can.

    Calm yourself.

They likely sued for libel. So those yelpers that were sued likely exaggerated the truth pretty bad or blatantly lied and had no way to back it up.

Nobody cares about your money, the only comments made were that you can afford to fix this situation on your own with your own money.

If you're going to argue that someone other than the shop owes you something, you're just going to turn from a kid who got taken advantage of by a shop full of morons to a kid who got taken advantage of by a shop full of morons and who is extremely entitled.

You've already said you're going to fix the problem at the shop and buy a new shock, and file a claim for their bill. Do that, then buy the shock that you can easily afford to get on your own and move on however you want to move on.

There's absolutely no need to talk about your money or get an attitude towards someone because they know you can afford $100. The how's and the why's don't matter for a fuck, just suck it up, handle things like an adult (and not act like a kid).

If you can't, then you've already gotten your help, you've already picked a course of action - go do that shit and then there's nothing to keep asking help for.
