Due to recent events, I had to get my Ray10s installed a lot sooner than planned. (horrible I know.)

    getting ready to install BFG KO2 285/70/17's on my SCS 17" Ray10's with a 2.5 " lift/level! On my 2016 TRD OR 2wd.

I wanted the tires and rims to be as flush as can but the shop guy said that because of the SCS Ray10 and the Offset: -10mm, the rims would stick out past the fender flare about 1 1/2 to 2"'s. He said no matter what size tires the rims will stick out past flares.

I cant figure out what they would look like after install, I just don't like tires on trucks that go way out past the wheel wells!

Other then that, what would be the largest size tire for that rim, without a lift all stock!

    Any advice, thanks

Consider 255/80/17 if you're worried about too much poke. Is this too much for you?

Otherwise, the 285s will look like this build.

Thanks so much for the response, I will consider those as well!

Do you think the 285's stick out to much or is that a good aggressive stance with a balance!

I PM'd him asking if he had a head-on picture with those 285's and SCS 17"s

I personally like the look of 285s, but this is your truck and you probably have different taste than me. Here's a better example since you have a 3rd gen Tacoma.

    2.5" lift with 265s

If you don't like what you see above then you've purchase the wrong wheel and tire setup.

Your right, I like the 285's, I sent an email but if I can see a picture head on of the of a 2016 Tacoma with 17" ray10 or similar SCS wheel with the -10, please send me the pictures here, any pictures of a 2016 with the 17"'s and 285/70/17's head on and more That way I can see what it looks like head on and how far it comes out past the fender flare, maybe that can change my mind!

    Thanks

Is it possible to get a side profile view of the truck? I'm more interested in the lift rather the wheels. Sorry for thread jacking.

Well I thought I wanted the SR8s. Now I may want these. Regardless I think the matte bronze is the color for me. When will these and the SR8s be available again in 17" bronze?
