I ordered on April 26. Wait time back then was 8-10 weeks, and literally the next day it went up to 12-14 weeks. I've been in contact with them (very nice peole, btw) and they hired some more staff that just finished training so it's back down to 8-10 weeks. Still a crazy wait time for us impulsive folks, but everyone says it's totally worth it and I've been looking forward to this type of sleep system for a while.

So, by the time mine is supposed to ship, it will be a 13 week wait.

These quilts look very interesting. I been wanting to get a new sleeping bag when it gets closer to winter. Maybe I will think about getting one of these quilts instead.

I bought the biggest size they make (xlong / xwide) and it's still only 1.6#. 800 down fill, 7' long, 64" wide, 20 degree quilt/bag. Super versatile. I like the sleeping pad clip system, too. Gives you more room to move, and you just rely on your sleep pad for the bottom insulation or you can wrap up in it like a sleeping bag if you want.

Yea it looks very versatile and comfortable. Seems like it was be a lot better for hammock camping then a sleeping bag. Going to use their live chat function to see what the best size for me would be.

Hammock camping is the primary reason I bought it. Anyone who hammock camps knows what a pain in the ass it is to climb into a normal sleeping bag, especially a mummy bag, and then get positioned in the hammock. Lots of shifting around. Plus, all of the insulation underneath my weight is crushed and the R value is lost. With the underquilt I already have, this will be a perfect setup for both hammock and tent camping with a sleeping pad.

For sizing, just go into the details and there's a huge chart that gives you the exact length/width of each size of quilt. No need for live chat, unless you want to talk to someone. I just took my height and added almost a foot of extra length so I'll never have crammed feet when I need to pull the top over my head. Girth is a different story though, as you have to compensate for how big around you are. I'm a big guy, so I went with the biggest width they have since it didn't really add that much weight to the whole setup.

Trip pics are great, but how about a gear breakdown of your voyages?

Did you pre-cool the ice chest? My brother has a Yeti 65 quart and he even has to pre-cool the ice chest the night before a long trip to last more than 4 days in Houston weather. The cooler at best can only slow the outside heat but if you are icing down hot items well then you are betting against the laws of thermodynamics.

Just ordered a 65 quart RTIC back ordered till August.

Is anyone noticing that their Osprey Atmos 65 AG is creaking and making noise in the frame around where the waist belt connects to the pack?

    While that's a pack I don't actually own :0 I don't think I've ever owned a pack that didn't make some sort or creak/squeak/rustle noise.

Nope, I don't think she did. Seems like nobody in here prefers to do that. I do, though.

Yes! There is a slight plastic-sounding creak when I'm walking, and it sounds like it's coming from the exact same spot. The noise sounds exactly like a nylon strap rubbing against bare plastic, making a friction creak noise (if that makes sense). I haven't really investigated it enough to know exactly where it is coming from. Doesn't really bug me, but I noticed it more on my last pack training hike. Now, it changes as I load differently. With my full size bear canister placed inside of the sleeping bag compartment, it seems to creak more. With soft gear in there, less creak. I'd be willing to bet it's just extra tension on the lower load-balancing straps (orange ones).

She was asked if she did already, and I'm pretty sure she did for 24 hours before she left.
