Its all good man. The shop shafted you and there is probably nothing you can do about it. You're probably gonna have to eat this one and walk away with a lesson learned. Maybe do a little more research next time before taking your truck somewhere. The good news is you only lost a couple hundred. When I was 22 a learned a hard lesson and lost thousands, I recovered from it.

I got my help but people started asking how I'm able to drive that truck and I don't want to seem like an entitled brat. I'm not entitled to anything. I made a bad decision going to the shop and most of this is on me (except for what the shop screwed me for). I just saw some comments about my truck and minimum wage and wanted to simply explain. But yes I have gotten my help and I appreciate it.

I can respect how you got the truck. It wasn't just handed to you.

However, most people are going to see a young person with a 2-year-old $35,000 truck and assume that. Not saying that's right, but it doesn't help your case.

I love when people on here give other people shit for having parents that will help them out financially. I mean who actually gives a half a fuck if it isn't you ponying up the cash for the kid. I think it's a pretty solid way to teach a kid how to save their money with an incentive if they succeed. Sorry you had a problem with your rig OP. Good luck getting the shop to own up and make right.

If I had kids I would do the same. Especially growing up in a rich town with many who were handed things without working and in their late 30's now still cannot do for themselves.

    OP, good work man.

Can't read through all the pages but Toytec wouldn't accept a defective OME setup they sold me for exchange, I doubt they're going to cover something caused by the installer (who Toytec is going to blame regardless).

The shop installed the 885 springs on my stock Bilstein shocks free of charge. However, I still have to buy my own new 5100 shock that they broke and pay for someone to install the pair. Paid $370, a broken 5100, and a lot of time for the shop to install leaf springs and OME springs on stock shocks. And their manager says "he would have to chalk it up as a loss" just an update for anyone who was wondering. He also expects me to bring it back to him when I get the shock refilled. Haha no way
