At least you guys have mackerel up there. Haven't seen one in the Sound here in 30 years. I fished the 'Mack 2 years ago and couldn't believe the schools of Mackerel there.

 

I just remembered I meant to post this yesterday with all the dog pictures. This is my moms dog. He likes the couch. He's a grandpa now!

VA loan problems with the bank? Have you tried a Credit Union? We have accounts with two, one since 1987, and the other local here since 2001. They've both been very good to us.

Yep I bank with Wells Fargo and have been for over 35 years , the loan rep starts dogging me because I'm a disabled Vet . He then asks me if I bank with them, duh I gave him my bank card !!!!

He also asked if I'm getting disability payments ,again I'm WTF !! can't you see my direct deposits . After that he said he's got a couple appts scheduled can you come back tomorrow . He also mentioned this process to get a pre approval letter may take an hour or more

Hmmm ... Can you get another person? I'm continually amazed at the prevalence of incompetence and bad customer service everwhere, regardless of profession, education, or anything. It's like a virus spreading through society.

 

I'd talk to the bank manager first. If that doesn't work, a friendly "GFY" is more than appropriate .

 

Funny thing is this so called mortgage rep I remember a couple months being a bank teller

Yep trying to get a VA home loan but right now being hassled in just getting a pre approval letter !!!

 

i was reading and quoted too soon. that's a shame chuck i think i'd ask to speak to a manager and express my disgust with my treatment. you deserve respect as any patron does but to me a veteran doubly so. i've used va loans twice and had great luck the builders don't like them much because they have to meet va specs and a va inspection. i'd ask for a different loan officer and if they aren't willing to comply inform them your perfectly willing to take your buisness elsewhere

I'm going back there tomorrow morning with the paperwork he requested and sit down with him . Obviously I'm going to talk to a supervisor or manager over his attitude towards me
