Let me give it some thought, this isn't the thread that has me anxious to paypal money lol.

PM me details if you want, this isn't against you or anything by any means. I'm not sure whether you can identify certain spring rates or not, so I'm a little cautious going private party.

Knowing how this works, I'm pretty sure AP couldn't even get a "cease and desist" order against them. KO would have to have been demonstrated to have built the bumper off of AP's (actual) stolen prints - and the size match would have to be exact (as in perfect) - not to mention having copied the logo cut-out. No one has reported what the material thickness is - but its probably 5 mm plate (.197 in) and if AP's is a close match to 3/16 - it would be U.S. 7 gage sheet (.179 in). Because the strength is based on the thickness cubed - the 5 mm plate is about 30% stronger. The "standard" pipe hoop shape on theirs constitutes a change - and so on........ Believe me, I've had people copy my mining equipment stuff before and aside from taking anti-acids for a few days - just had to get on with life and design something else that my customers "couldn't live without".

They'll have a sticker saying what model coil it is. That's the way to identify spring rate.. though all the second gen coils are 590 lbs except 886 which is 660 lbs.

As long as they say 885X, you should be golden.

885's have more length when compared to 884's(current set-up) correct? More height but same compression resistance?

I bought mine before the verdict came out, so I'm morally covered. My build page will show that I have a limited edition AP logo-less bumper. J/k. One thing I can say though, AP should take note of the demand for their products without the logo, it could boost their sales

I think the demand is because of the price, I don't know if that's what you were meaning.

I know several people mentioned liking the style without the logo. Not saying the demand was strictly based on that but it was a factor in more than one purchase consideration. Without doubt, price was a driving force as well

Nobody opted for multiple to resell later. Can use the timestamps to theorize on how much member reviews may have impacted to buy or not to buy.

People bought it because of the price. Not because it didn't have a logo.

What business designs and manufacturers a product and doesn't put their logo on it?

Not worth it, for a variety of reasons.

Just thought I'd throw one more on here. Not sure if I'll keep the nipple rings red or not...
Does anyone else think it just looks bulky? Or is that just cause I'm not used to it yet.

I am a big fan of that setup.

Would, unless you need more than the winch mount. That's a very well designed and super clean looking product.

I think Bulky is the look you are supposed to be going form when you buy a huge 150lb plate bumper. I think it looks pretty sweet. If i had the cash i would have gotten one.
