There is a rubber grommet on the firewall where all of the other wire bundles go through. you can punch through that with a chopstick or knitting needle and pull the wires through there. No need to drill anything!hth

this question goes out to the truly talented electronic wiring minded guys on here(no offence to the rest of us). I have an SR dbcb, so it didn't come with fog lights, but thanks to tacojoy418, I now have a set of factory fogs. so since I don't have a wiring harness I wanted to ask if I could splice into my low beam wires so that when I turn on headlights, the fogs would also be on and would go off when I use high beams just like the factory versions. I assume the headlights run off a relay and I didnt want to overload said relay, (or would it?),so could I put a relay inline on the fogs to prevent overload. I hope this makes since to anyone reading. any insight and or wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I read somewhere that the wiring harness is already in there for the fog option. Did you look around in that area for a couple unused connectors? It would just need to be wired into a switch. I give the caveat that I am no electrician and it may be easier a different way. There is a thread in this forum about installing fogs for those that don't have them. "2016 Tacoma fog light mod" moe2o4 did a good write up

I have P265/70/17 with 17 x 8 +10 and mine drives and tracks straight so far. I will keep an eye on it. Still playing with psi to get the best feel. Pretty good at 36.5 but gonna try 38. These are street tires but do have 8.5"+ tread width. So far seems to cost me .5-.7 mpg in town. Trying to find the sweet spot for least rolling resistance and comfortable feel. Does seem to stray slightly more than stock Toyo A30 tires did.

I was lucky enough to score a 5th "blemished" wheel when I bought my FN FX Pro's. I did this just to have the same lug nuts in case I wasn't driving when a flat happened.

Well thats exactly the difference of tread width from my stock Toyo AT30 265/65-17 and my 265/70-17 Uniroyal Laredo Cross Country Tour tires. That is why I bought them. They were the widest width tread I could find without using the KO2 or another LT tire that have nearly 9" tread width. My daughter has the same Laredo tire in 235/70-16 that has more tread width than the Toyo tires had. Compare tire tread widths. They vary greatly. The section width is about the same but certainly have more tread width on the ground. Michelins were also much wider treads but much higher priced. Go to tirerack.com and compare 5 tires of the same "size" and see what the diameter and tread width differences are. Toyos were skinny treads.
