Anyone having problems trying to purchase or order these tires ??? . I ordered a set of 265/ 75 - 16 Mud Terrain KM2's over a month ago from my local off road shop

They called me last week and told me they're having a hard time getting them from their supplier . Went to their shop a little while ago and got news I didn't want to Hear

Found out that BFG is having a hard time keeping up production and the off road shop told me that these tires are on National Back order . I was told to call the shop at the end of the month to get a progress update

Like I mentioned anyone else having issues getting BFG Tired ??

If these tires are placed on the unobtainium list , what's a good comparable tire to the KM2's ??

Sucks they're on back order. The only tire above the off road performance that is still a semi-comfortable street tire is the Goodyear MTR. My best friend has a TJ and had KM2s for full life of the tire. After wheeling with me so many times he's going with MTRs next and doesn't have any doubt.

Not just saying this because I'm selling my 265/75r16s either, I'll be going with the same tires for my next set, just larger.

I bought my KM2's a year ago, and they were on backorder. Took em a few weeks to get to me, and I ordered directly from BFG.

I have Maxxis Bighorn MT762, and they arent as comfortable as a daily driver. Off road they are great so far. Haven't aired them down though. Ive also read that they only last about 40k miles.

My first choice was Cooper ST Maxx, but a good deal came up on these

    I ordered mine from www.onlinetires.com for $162 each +shipping

Thas why I suggested the OP to check out the 764's/Buckshot II's. The new tread design does surprisingly well on road. I think the mileage on the II's will be in the 40-50k range.

Those sliders make my pants tighten in the crotchal region, and not because of the pleats.

    Update :

Got a phone call from my Off Road shop I'm getting these tires from and the manager told me the bad news . Their tire supplier told them BFG is now reporting an additional 4 - 6 months until these tire can be available

Looks like I'm now going to get a different style / brand of tire

If I can afford them, I'll be getting the MTRs with Kevlar. Good reviews all around like the KM2.

Costco carries bfg now? I thought it was just Michelin and Bridgestone. I had 255 km2s and loved them, when they were new. As they wore down, they got louder and louder. Also they kept losing their balance. Had to have them rebalanced several times. I swapped last year to the cooper st maxx and so far they have been great. I don't offroad anymore, but they have done very well in wet traction and deep snow as well.

My last set were 35's on a Dodge truck. I used Dyna beads to balance them and had zero balance issues.
