Las Vegas Info

I am planning to move to Las Vegas within the next 2 years. I'd probably buy a place in a 55+ community. Anyone have any advice as to areas that are nicer and areas to avoid? Any advice at all would be appreciated.

 

i would look in the aliante area

 

Henderson / Green Valley

 

Henderson/Green Valley isn't bad. If you have the money, I would say look into the Summerlin area.

When I lived out there, the South West was growing real fast, so there should be a lot of nice homes out that way.

I live in Aliante and the 55+ area is really nice. It's called Sun City Aliante.

I love living in Aliante. Close enough to the strip and airport, but not to close. My commute to work is super easy. And it's very well maintained.

 

Makes me wanna move back to Vegas...

 

Oh yeah! I think it was good to go at this time of year to see that they do get cold weather at night, but the days warm up to early Spring temps. I just can't take these PA winters anymore. It's not the snow, it's the cold and wind that are killing me! Plus, I think I'm just ready for a change.

 

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I wish I could go right now. Here in Southeastern PA we have a wind chill of 17. I hate cold weather. More than cold, I hate windy weather when it's cold.
