Put the towers and crossbars on my new leer shell

 

Moved stuff from here to there while trying to avoid traffic. First time with the supercharger. It was nice.

 

Went shopping in a thunderstorm. Picked up a new jerrycan, swung by my dads and picked up my water jugs and grabbed a new chainsaw and ax for this weekend.

 

Will the kiwi 3 and the torque pro app allow you to change settings or simply reset error messages?

At first I was hesitant about drilling the new truck but now that its installed, I love it. Just need to find the correct size hardware for doubling up the ram ball mount on the top/bottom. I found some hardware in the garage that works but the screws are a bit long.

 

i used some nuts/bolts from a harbor freight kit and just took an angle grinder to the bolts to shorten.

 

Drove it to ups to ship a tailgate cap to @Kemosabe in Canada. What a pita!

 

Lesson learned! I think I'll move to US. It's gonna be easier for me to get parts from nice member like @Ohiophil !

 

For anyone who isn't familiar with the process: you have to print out three copies of a declaration form, after you search for the correct tariff code-good luck. You also need a country of origin form. Sign and date all 4, and put into a plastic bag. Fingers crossed that it's all correct, because the kids working at the ups store weren't 100% sure lol

Freakin love my dremel. Not sure how I managed to mod before without it.

 

3c is as shifty as the shiftiest body shops. They just take it out on the insurance companies instead of you. Then our insurance rates go up since they push for stuff that isn't needed. (Wife is an adjuster at an insurance company that isn't cutthroat to it's insured drivers, I hear how shifty they are with her at least once every two weeks lol)

 

My rate would have went up anyway. It was only about 7% for 2 or 3 years, then it went back down.

No offense, but your wife is obviously biased towards the insurance companies. I'm out for what's better for me

 

Nah, that was my point about hers not being cutthroat towards their customers. Plus, she's new so she hasn't had time to build up a bias yet

Lastly, it's not Ohio law that you can demand OEM. It's up to your carrier. The only state that does allow you to do that currently is Minnesota. I know that her company requires OEM if your vehicle is current or previous model year or has less than 30k miles on the odometer. I'm sure you can argue with your insurance company about it and get your way if you're lucky, but they're only required to do what's in the policy.

Either way, I'm glad you got your stuff taken care of the way you wanted!

That's not exactly a state law, that's you arguing with your adjuster. Trust me, with Nationwide, Grange, State Auto, Motorist, and Safe Auto all headquartered right in Columbus (and half of them having buildings in eyesight of the capital), there's no law that requires them to use OEM in any way shape or form. Government of the Corporations for the Corporations up in here man lol
