So in the event your compressor shits the bed while you're on the trail you'll still have a few locky lockys left.

I put it on it's own switch so that I can run the fan to continue cooling the compressor after I shut it off.

On the Tacoma I have the ARB single for running the lockers and as an emergency backup for the tires. In the back I have a 20lb CO2 tank. I may add a tires/tools compressor later as I don't want to get into a situation where I need to activate a locker but I've burnt out the compressor doing tires.

On the Land Cruiser I'm getting ready to fit a completely weatherproof 24v compressor underneath the truck for tires/tools. Still undecided if I want to add a tank to the system so I'll wait and see. If this compressor is as bad ass as they claim them I'll grab a 12v version for the Tacoma.

Not doing anything yet to the 4Runner since it's technically hers, but time will tell as she has said that she wants to take it to the Appalacian Toyota Round-Up.

I carry both. I can gas up my tires in 40sec each.

Those with a second battery, what battery did you choose? i am putting a second battery in the cab of the truck so space is just about unlimited since the passenger side rear seats are removed out of my '13 double cab.

what will be powered is a 12v edgestar fridge, 500w inverter, blue sea 12 circuit fuse panel, sure flow water pump and a 5 channel amp. I am living out of the truck long term so everything will see usage fairly regularly.

obviously i will be after an AGM battery but at the same time a $250 battery is not an option.

I bought a matched set of Oddysey batteries and both of them are under the hood. I may add a larger deep cycle in the bed to act as a house battery for the Flippac later.

Since the topic is inflating tires figured I'd post this. Currently happening out in our service yard. On board robot arm. Red Vine for scale.

I went with matching Northstar 24F AGMs. They were under a GB on here for $250 each. I'm pretty sure you will not be able to find Northstars or Oddyseys any cheaper. Even Optima Yellow Tops are going to be close to that.
