2001 tacoma double cab 4x4

I have a real nice 2001 tacoma for sale only has 136k miles new plugs and wires and new fuel filter. I'm only asking $11000 for the truck everything works as it should. Does have a rebuilt title due to deer hitting front passenger fender but has been all replaced and painted etc nothing else was even damage. Has a clean frame with no rust what so ever. What's a rebuild title? Salvage?

 

Kinda, ya. It means it was salvaged. Then the owner had the vehicle fixed and professionally inspected for a clean bill of health so to speak. Then the dmv issues a rebuilt title.

 

The frame was never damaged etc it was just a fend replaced and a new headlight was replaced clean truck top to bottom

 

That's dirt that's on the frame in the pics no rust on frame what so ever

how does the insurance company salvage it if it was only a fender and a headlight, doesnt the damage need to be 50% or more of the value of the truck to salvage it usually ?

 

To my knowledge it was never a salvage title in the first place the guy I bought the truck from was the mechanic that fixed the truck and he never told me that it had a salvaged title just a rebuilt. So just ignore what the guy above was saying about a salvage title

How can a car or truck get a salvage title for a front fender and headlight replacement you dumbass explain that too me? I am not the one who bought a rebuilt title without knowing what that means. Just trying to enlighten other potential buyers to what the truck actually went through to get a rebuilt title.
