I added this Smittybilt shackle/hitch along with a stainless 5/8" hitch lock to go with my 2" ball hitch...

Those Fuel Beast wheels are some of the sickest wheels I've seen yet, they've been added to my short list of wheels.

I like CBI gear...Lightweight and well built stuff. Im sure there are other manufactures who make great stuff also, I just liked their gear.

As for the gears I'll have a shop do mine...I'm a fair mechanic, but, thats beyond my capabilities.

Let me know how yours turns out...

Nothing fancy, yet. Weathertech mats front/back + their mud guards, some reflective striping and custom carpets on the storage bin lids underneath the jump seats.
What did I do? Something goofy & a little nerdy.
I made Velcro droid eyes for the Access Cab jump seat headrests.
I'm thinking dollar store water guns painted matte silver/grey for blasters and some sort of wooden dowels for antennas.
That would up the cost of the project to more than the $0.25 I have in it now, though. :D

I've ran their products before and have to say, their quality is top notch. I didn't mind dropping $1700 shipped for both front and rear bumpers, either. Great deal for a great product. Still deciding whether to powdercoat or spray with textured paint. PC is great for durability but it's pricey and harder to touch up when I inevitably smash things (see 4Runner posts). Texture spray paint with a good primer base would be way cheaper, but obviously labor intensive and not as durable. Decisions decisions!

If you would, let me know how your gear install goes. I'm looking at Nitro 4.88's + ARB lockers for both front and rear, but I'm weary about the front clamshell strength with the locker. I may just do the rear and get rid of the E-locker.

Doubt it. Even Google dropped it because Qi isn't capable of delivering enough current to keep up with current this phones gobble up now a days.

Except... It is. Qi has an adaptive fast charge capability nowadays. S7 has it. Toyota left it out and went with a super low powered qi charging coil for some reason... Can't even keep up with the massive battery drain of the entune app

It wasn't a valuable option. Sounded like a great idea but I would have to strap a backpack to my old Galaxy to work with Qi. Not gonna buy another $700 phone so I can use a charger. Would have preferred a transmission dipstick. That would have been the same cost of the charger switch and pad. Oh what a feeling.
Isn't it strange that I drove 40 years with a transmission dipstick and had 1 transmission fail around 35 years ago. My Taco transmission slipped from zero to 5250 miles and then was fine after the Toyota trained mechanic checked and filled the fluid. What will that cost you after the warranty is done. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Took the Taco to the dealer for transmission fluid level check at 300ish miles.

Also, looks like my dealer supplies the domed Tacoma lettering now. image.jpg
