I dropped the boat back in the water yesterday (I wet slip it at my house, but had it out of the water for maintenance). Of course the Tacoma tows that little 17 footer easily.



Then today I installed my new Yakima JetStream, they still need a little tweaking, but are pretty solid and quiet. I got the 60inch bars instead of the recommended 50inch bars, I had 58inch Thule bars on my old 4Runner and now on my Fiancee's Rav4, I didn't want to go narrower, and I think the 60inch looks right to me.

For some reason Yakima listed different measurements and settings for the 2016 Tacoma vs the 2005-2015, advice for anyone else installing- use the 2005-2015 settings, not sure what they were thinking, the roof on both models is the same, the 2016 fit wasn't as nice as the older 2015 specs.

 

Solved the problem of Toyota not allowing us Automatic trans owners to purchase JUST this switch plate. You tell me I have to but the whole upper console and I said hell nah.

Did the Icon stage 4, but no rear leafs installed yet. Front went up 1", and went with the BFG AT's 275/70/17, and yes they rub when turning and hitting bumps.....

My qi capable retrofit thing cost me 6 dollars shipped. Just a sticker like thing goes on your battery and has a couple contact points. Dont understand it but it works great on my note3

 

I had black leather seats installed. Professional install with Automotive Expressions of Hallsville Missouri (super job by Keith Hawkins). He uses both Katzskin and Roadwire company made OEM fitting kits (mine was Roadwire). Very happy with results!






factory cloth seats will now be for sale (TRD black with orange stitching).

That lift is setup for 2.5" from Icon....you sure you're getting as much height out of those as you're supposed to? Did you measure from hub to fender vs. ground to fender?

 

Getting ready to slap on some tires...

 

Probably the easiest thing you will ever do. Everything is reachable from under the hood. Twist the old bulbs out of the housing, unplug from the wiring harness, plug the new ones in, and twist the new LEDs into the housing. Took about 5 minutes!

Well, you need the kit I guess. The kit has the LEDs and module. The LEDs connects to the module, and that connects to the OEM harness
