I'm on the verge of ordering. How can I make sure I get on the 4.0 list?

Well I had to cancel my order because the projectors still hadn't arrived. Figured I would just wait until the 4.0's are out and order those.

Okay. I am in the final stage of epoxying the projectors in and getting it all sealed up when I realized I have no idea how to seal the back where the bulb plug will connect. I still have the 90mm (correct me if I'm wrong) rubber seal for the back but it won't fit around the big TRS plug because it comes out at a 90 degree angle. Any help will be appreciated because I'm stuck. I am retrofitting Fx-r 3.0's if that helps. And is it possible to fit demon eyes into the Fx-r 3.0's, the morimoto demon eyes because they don't look like they fit anywhere at the top and there was no mounting bracket in the package. Sorry for all the questions.

Can you post pictures of the back? Trying to see what you're working with.

As for fxrs you can mount it near the vents.

On my first gen I trimmed the OEM cover to fit. Not perfect but it stops splashing from engine bay washing.

Edit: Ooops, sry. I just noticed that you have FXRs.

Okay I figured out what I was doing wrong. The hole I cut in the back of my reflector housing was too small. It was big enough for the projector to fit, but the back of the projector didn't stick out enough for the rubber seal to fit and still have the bulb connector connect. I recut the hole in the back of my reflector to make the projector sit deeper and cause it to stick out just enough for the back of the projector to stick out. I wish I had taken more pictures, but it is too late now, I have everything finished. Here is what the back looks like now that I fixed it. I already had it epoxied in so cutting and chipping it out was a chore but overall wasn't too bad.

And finally a teaser of the final product. Tomorrow I'll clean up the lenses and take some more pictures if y'all don't mind.

Thanks for the help! This project couldn't of been done without all the help and support on Tacoma World and this thread in particular!

Looks awesome! The only thing I'm afraid of is your horizontal adjustments. The projectors look like they're pointed way too far to one side. Hopefully it's not the case
