What are you doing for the 4th?

Camping for the 4th. What is everyone else doing?

 

Going to watch Jaws, maybe The Sandlot and drink lots of beer. Went fishing last weekend and now it's even hotter so I'm going to chill out at home and work on the car projects that I have been neglecting.

 

No idea yet! I'll be child-less this year on the 4th of July.

 

Raining, so naturally I'll be installing gutters at one of the cabins.

 

Are you in a drought there or was that only southern California? Must be nice to not have to deal with salted roads in the winter, and all the havoc it cause a frame.

 

Fire up the grill and dodge the rain.

Going to Mexico I know it's the most American holiday there is but they celebrate it to any reason to get drunk

 

Me too. Wife and kids are out of town and I have nothing to do.

 

Working.....a lot...... I work @ a country club. We have a BIG event tomorrow evening. 8 satellite bars set up at various spots around the golf course. Drinking to excess, then a giant mess to clean up. Sunday is a golf tournament (if it doesn't rain.) Then a swim party all day Monday with fireworks after dark. Then ANOTHER giant mess to clean up on Tuesday morning. I'm the property manager. Others will do most of the hard labor, but I have to be there if anything is going on. Goes with the territory.....

Working. I've worked every day since June 7, and my next day off is July 9. I don't work until 8pm tomorrow night, so I'll do a little work on the truck before I go in. Next weekend I'm going camping for three nights with my three brothers. It'll be a welcome break.

 

We had a good winter so not the drought that Cali is having but we conserve like it.

 

We are flying below the radar this weekend and celebrating what this Country is all about FREEDOM!!

 

Going to the beach, doing some fishing, fireworks, etc. probably eating way to much food.

 

Haven't ran across this thread yet, may have to check in before the weekends over. Camping and beer are like peas and carrots, I will be sideways before it's over.

Ditto...bad weather forecasted by the weather guessers for Southern Maryland. Probably hang out at the house with my child bride, hopefully breakout the grille and a frosty adult beverage...or two.
