Eh I've thought about it but after looking today after caliber just looked at it on the outside I realize it's not as bad as they see from the outside. So I'll save money and do it myself. Besides the guys here and I should be able to knock it out no problem

Prob your best bet to do it on a mod day, from a business standpoint, fixing your truck would be no problem but then you add in converting and it turns into more of a headache. The programs we work off are vin specific so it would make it difficult and not many people would have the patience for it.

According to the handful of threads here and the part diagrams it's really not all that hard. I think one guy did it by him self with the exception of changing the hood, he had a hand for that. I wish I could give a vin for a 2012 and have someone do it at an actual shop but what I'll probably end up doing is getting the insurance check and then getting parts and get what i need painted, painted and then assemble it all. I have a 2012 grille, bumper cover and crash bar already. Rest will be easy as pie.

 

Somewhere here i think..im pretty sure theres a thread with every part needed as well as part numbers. Its not that hard and ive thought about it as well. I was just saying from a business stand point, a collision repair shop might not be the best bet. If you need help with figuring out parts or part numbers let me know, ill see what i can do or put you in touch with the guys i deal with at mark jacobson

Lol I'd appreciate any help whenever we get around to doing this maybe you can stop by and help over see it since you do this kinda stuff for a living. Yeah the shops are quickly becoming an enemy in this process. I think I have most of the parts figured out but I'll go back through my list and shoot you a pm of what I've got on the list.
