Every time i want to go to my local Outdoor range(100 yards), its closed. It seems like the only time I actually decide to want to go is on Fridays, when they're closed seasonally. :annoyed:

Wolf and Tula Ammo are poly coated. You'll have no problems what-so-ever. Brown Bear I know is lacquer. The poly coated doesn't make it more difficult to clean your gun at all. Can't speak to the lacquer.

Freedom is now making 9mm steel cased with a thin brass plating on it. I'm betting they'll do 223 in it soon if they aren't already. Kinda curious on how that runs compared to poly coated steel and brass.

I'm still waiting for my order through freedom to ship. Almost 2 weeks later. No response to my email 3 days ago either.

Saw that. Reminded me of the 'copper washed' steel stuff for my Mosin.

2 weeks ago was a few days after Orlando. Every big online gun company is overwhelmed with orders..I wouldn't worry about it.

They've got a banner on their home page specifically saying that they're running behind due to demand.

lol. I placed a big order with Freedom as soon as I saw the news about Orlando, to be honest. I remember after Sandy Hook how hard it was to find ammunition for a year + and I figured I'd get ahead of the curve. So I guess that makes me a tinfoil hat guy. :notsure:

HA! No. I did order 1000 rounds of 55gr Reman and 500 each of 9mm and 45 FMJ's. Then I called them up and wrangled free shipping out of the rep, lol.

Of course, I thought I was doing well, but I see that they're offering free shipping on everything over $99 now.

They filed bankruptcy so all of their stores are closing. Ours don't carry guns of any kind though

They did bannit in Californistan just today. No more interwebz sales of ammo pretty soon, if I still lived there I would be maxing out my credit cards on boolits. Besides, there is nothing wrong with placing 5000 round orders, that wouldn't even last me through the summer.
