Looking at debaging my taco. It's a 2010 and I'm hoping that there will be no fading at this point. I'm hoping you all will help me by posting your pics! By the way I have a BSP Taco, but I would love to see all colors. Thanks,

    Mike

I thought about debadging my 04 but figured the paint would be faded. Sorry to post this in your thread but has anybody else debadged a truck after that long?

Chrome looks like crap (IMO) on black... and seeing as I have a BSP... I pulled them immediately.

i just de-badged mine a few months ago and you have to look really close to even see they were there. when i did it i washed, clay bared, used a polish around where the emblems were, then waxed. if i didnt know they were on there i wouldn't be able to tell. don't have any close ups of a de-badged spot on my truck but hope this helps!

Sorry, I have no pictures, but I de-badged, then painted and re-badged my truck. The truck was 2.5 years old when I de-badged and there was no fading at all. My truck is silver, though...

Well I got the tailgate finished, and what a pain in the ass that was! Anyways looks really good. Unfortunately when I moved my taco up in my garage with the door closed, my bumper got scratched/dented by a damn piece of metal on the inside of my garage door! Taking it in to see what it will cost to buff and paint. :(

Its a flashy sticker for those with low selfesteam that need to feel special they bought a factory option that cost 3g's.It also draws attention making crappy ass car thiefs to break your damn windows thinking you have a bunch of cool shit inside.

    Driver's side is clean...

Passenger side now has the V6 badge from the tailgate...

And the tailgate has a single "Tacoma" badge above the handle...

Everything else, the rest of the emblems, TRD stickers (most ridiculous looking things...) dealer stickers, all off about a week after I got it home.

i just started debadging my 06. it was dirty as hell around the letters but no fade. just wash it, use a little cutting compound and a quick polish in the area and it like they never existed.

I debadged my 08 when it was a year and a half old, and there's no fade. It looks tight on the darker trucks. I used a piece of high weight-test fishing line to slice through the sticky by sliding it back and forth and it was super easy. Then a little Goo-Gone and it was clean as a whistle. I'll take a pic of the back and post if I get a chance today.
