Its mainly because im running a 10" sub at 600 watts which is 50 amps so there isn't to much for the rest of the electronics on the vehicle lol. I do have a 35 amp hour agm battery from my work and I'm contemplating throwing it in.

Well dear God Kenny no wonder you are having electrical problems....you need to go to a dual battery setup....

To be honest I am not sure how @B ill y hasn't HAD to go dual battery yet with the Hella Supertones, Dual Mishimotos, OBA,...etc...

That's not that much. It doesn't use 50 amps constant. When your drivin and you crank it up and its hitting (you now boom , boom )do the dash lights dim to the bass. Or does it do it when your just sitting there idling. Check the dash lights . The dimmer knob adjusts them turn them up so there on brightest. Drive around for a couple days and crank it up a check . just to see if they dim. Check it in morning, mid day, night. You'll get less power from the alternator mid day. Try this before you put that other battery in . Then post outcome.

No they dim lol. I did do a big 3 upgrade which helped a little. When I drive at night and pull up to a stop light and have my pods on the pods used to strobe back and forth before the big 3. Now they just flicker pretty bad. My question is if I do a secondary battery wont the alternator still struggle?

I'd imagine you'd have to install a high performance alternator. I've heard of people having to do this when alot of off roading lights have been installed. Although B ill y would know better than I would

Well if money is tight. You could give your alt. An bit of surgery. Go to storealternatorparts.com search 104210-8230 it's new brushes and volt reg.
There just bolt on parts with 10mm , 8mm sockets. If brushes are dirty or have oil on them they wouldn't charge right.

I would add the other battery you said you have. And then rebuild alt. Then get a second battery If needed You shouldn't need two battery's for just a 600w 10" sub. You can go to autozone and they can test your alt for free and tell you what it makes for power. Some guys will put a lawn mower battery in the power wire line from main battery to the amp for extra juice. There like 20 bucks at Walmart . Or a compositor . I've had compositors catch on fire though it was an audiobahn brand compositor. So stay away from that brand.

    >___< and here I was trying to figure out fitting it in the engine bay. I found a source for a 160 amp one. But I don't have to worry yet I may have sent 24v to my amp today while testing out the battery. Lol and Im an engineering major :/

Someone successfully did that before on the forums, but I would think that would be way to freaking crowded.

Lol that sucks. One time I watched a kid hook up his amp power wire to the battery and then try to fish it though the fire wall. I held my tongue. He needed to learn on his own. He ended up starting a fire and burning all the insulation on the firewall. Then he figured out to hook shit up last after you run wires . Hope your amp is ok. Should have only blew the fuses on the amp. That's why there there. Is the 160amp from that site I said that has the parts.

Got a lot of stuff lol
    The alternator was from here
    http://www.qualitypowerauto.com/item_467/Toyota-Tacoma.htm

I also think some of the alternators for the es300 looks similar and some of those are like 140 amp.

Unfortunately it wasn't the fuse and believe me I tried many lol. There's no sign of blow chips inside either. Guess it's time for an upgrade hahaha :/
