    *nice shelf of parts....:anonymous:
I want to get the Squadron wide angle kit on during this long weekend. I'm taking Tuesday off too. But I need to work on the house, also, so....

With your personal collection of cool parts and accessories that have been researched and hand picked and pre assembled by you that are ready to be installed, you have the luxury of going out to the garage and taking your pick of what you have time for and what to tackle that day. A good way to Roll.

Yeah, that's true. The sill guards were one of those things. I knew that if I had a half hour uninterrupted, I could knock it out. But so many other things have been coming up, planned and unplanned (mostly the latter), I could hardly find that half hour. And we're at the end of a vey long heat wave hovering ~100 for days. Not real fun in the detached, uninsulated garage from about 10 am until about 8 pm

I'm trying to get out there in evenings a little bit to get things better organized and stage some of my house projects better so I can get them out of there. When I did the Homersohi, I gathered bits and pieces for weeks and did dry runs through unknown processes to see if I would hit any obstacles or "Oh shit, I need to go get X" moments. Then I staged everything the night before each stage so I could make the best use out of my allotted 1/2 day of non-baby duty and not end up with an drivable truck. Yay. Working hard to work hard.

I need to get this damn cap painted this summer. That is going to be a big job. I may need to do it before the lift.

I understand the time thing and setting priorities. It takes a lot of sacrifices to do the right thing around the house. The heat is brutal here also! Of course looking at truck pictures on the web is nothing like seeing it in person, but not to distort you I like the two tone look of your truck. Just my opinion.

I know, it is actually not horrible, and I've caught myself thinking, if I paint it, it will look too silver. :notsure:

But I'm gonna paint it. I like clean lines. I should probably debadge the rest of the truck too. And that rear bumper.

I got 6 of them in near new condition for 400 quid. One had a couple Knicks but the rest are in near perfect shape.
