It's amazing how they can charge a million $ for shitty work. I've been lucky I guess. Oil changes and rotations, and a brake switch under warranty. I assume they did everything that they claim. Lol.

I could change my own oil, but it's hard to get rid of these days. I can do spark plugs and brakes too, but that's about as far as it goes for me with modern stuff.

Back in high school I had a '69 chevelle that was easy to work on while sitting in the engine bay ( sorta

Not sure what happened to my post above this.

Installed a set of these in the front doors today. They didnt cost much and its a noticeable difference over stock. Install was super easy with the adapters and wiring harness that came free from Crutchfield. Also did the tweeter screen trim mod and that made a difference too. For what it cost, im happy.

What is this tweeter screen mod you speak of?

The stock tweeter has a dust screen over it. With the door panel off take a razor blade and cut it off (carefully). The speaker itself is set back pretty far so an eighth inch of blade works great without cutting the speaker. It could be in my head but it seems like it helped. I think i saw it on the cheap/free mod thread.

Very nice! I switched out my taillights for anzos a while back. Not because I wanted to, but because I ate a retard sandwich and backed into another truck. Lol. I'm kinda glad I did, because I like them much better!

Free is great! I'm all out of free ones now though. Damn it. There's a thread here somewhere on how to do a home alignment if ya want to try that

Is that elasticl-y/stretchy? I bought one that was, as I found things bounce around too much. Looking for something solid....

Agreed! I have no personal experience with them, but it seemed to fit the bill perfectly for you.

I wish I could afford the best of everything. My 13 year old son makes sure I can't. Lol. If I would narrow down my interests a little it would help too. The guns take up a bit of my money... I just finished upgrading my sons 10/22. He outgrew the short stock, and I put in a new trigger and other odds and ends while I had it apart... None of it was "top shelf" but it adds up quick
