    Why's that? I mean I get it protein promotes muscle growth and overall wellness but with me not working out but on a treadmill would I really benefit for more than 1g / body weight

    Decent day in the gym. Won't bore you with the weights my baby arms use but here's what I did:

    4 sets of "21s"
    4 x 12 tricep rope push downs
    3 x 10(each arm a alternating) bicep curls
    4 x 10 overhead tricep extensions
    3 x 10 (each arm - alternating) hammer curls
    3 x 12 dips

    Abs:
    3 x 1:00 planks
    2 x leg raises

    I would think atrophy is going to happen no matter what I eat because I not able to use the muscles in any capacity in my left arm minus my hand for typing.

    Remember with injury/surgery your body will break down more protein than normal. So with the added boost it will keep you at par maybe a little above to ward off atrophy.A lot of What you eat during recovery will make up a lot of how fast/well you recover.

    Went back to the gym down here again. Figured if I'm going to sit around and drink beer all day I might as well be a little productive before I crack the first can. The same upper body monster was there again. He was doing...shoulders. I was doing shoulders too, but I did legs yesterday. I don't get how you could look in the mirror and see stick legs and think "yeah, I look great".

    Maybe he doesn't have any full length mirrors? :notsure:
