I don't like how far forward the bumper sits. It doesn't line up with the lip of the fender well very well. Either that of the ones I've seen installed weren't adjusted well. Well that's all I have to say. Oh well. Hope all is well. Well well well.

Tgought I was installing today, but something isn't right. High pressure A/C line is in the way.

I can't believe how shitty all the install instructions out there are.

I aborted the install, have 3-6" of rain moving in and couldn't take a chance.

Not much on mods - Leer 180, TRD wheels, Mobtown sliders, rear hitch, helper springs on the rear
It looks like that it's time for some D.I.Y. local manufacturing - you'll have to use a cut-off wheel on that bumper - or - it ain't going to install.

Not going to happen, that is on the bend. I would have to cut a channel and then build a tunnel on the underside, otherwise the A/C line would be exposed.

I'm not sure what exactly is happening. Truck hasn't been wrecked, never been off road. Only has 17,xxx miles.

Yeah, if it were a 1st gen I could just use the frame rot to my advantage and readjust things

Or just get a Allpro front bumper like I did. Mount it with no problem and have a stress free life.

Trying to figure out my fitment issues. Do you have to do anything with the bracing in question? I removed everything in the circles, crash bar, 2 underneath braces, 2 end caps. The bumper seemed to have room to drop but wouldn't. Still not sure it would have been enough, been out staring at everything I can think of but not seeing anything obvious. Doubt it would be the factory recovery loop, it's on the drivers side. My only thought is the brace midway up, but the color matched space fillers below the headlights clip into the side sections and I obviously want to keep those. This is bugging the shit out of me that I'm the only one with fitment issues

Stole this image off another post for illustration, the ones I have weren't as clear.
