So I finally found some e85 in Montgomery, AL and I gotta get a new clutch. I just slipped it in 5th above 100. Stock clutch doesn't like lots of hp. But filled up 11.4 of a 12 gallon tank with e85 and came out with this much content ....

If Toyota would put a fuckin dipstick on the trans, I would know when it's only low by 1/4 qt and not waste my time & money going to buy another qt of fluid.

    On another note, brakes questions:

I have a pair of StopTech stock length stainless brakes lines (front only). New, unopened.
$40 shipped, $35 local, if anyone wants them.
If not, I'll just return them to the store next week and have to eat the return shipping fee.

I have extended lines installed now but one of them rubs the frame a little because of how it curls due to its length. Put them on before I did the lift. Was thinking maybe stock length would be ok now, but at full suspension droop, stock length looks like it would be pulled taught. Ok for now but not when I eventually get some extended travel coilovers. Wish there was an in-between length available.

If I just loosen one end of a brake line a little and try to twist it to stop it from curling against the frame, do you think it would still let air in & have to bleed it?
Guess I'd just bleed it anyway just in case?
I've got a one of those hand pump bleeders so I don't need anyone pressing the brake pedal but does the key have to be "on" so that the electric booster thing is live when I bleed the lines using that hand pump?

I wouldn't fuck with the line. If you're really worried about it, you could just zip tie or electrical tape (or both) a section of hose or some plastic conduit tubing over the brake line where it's rubbing. It's very cheap to do and you don't have to fuck with the brake system. Drunken yard fab at it's finest :D
