Jk! When I go 65-70 on flat hwy I can get between 21-23 average. Best I have done was 439 miles on 19 gallons. So far I'm impressed with these new 3.5 liters. the new auto six speed is another story:facepalm:

The 14.3 is a result of 3 accidents on the highway while on the way to work in 1 week.

6 speed DCSB. Shifting around 2500-3200 rpm. Yup, grandpa driving. Trucks brand new for now, lol.

Mine's an auto. That 33 was after coasting down the Cajon Pass on my way to San Diego. Return trip regulated it out and I ended up around 23 average.

I initially had the 16" steel wheels. I was getting 17 average and around 20 on highway going 75-80 mph.

Then I put in some FJ Cruiser 17" wheels with 265/70R17. That lowered to 15.5 mpg.

I've only been driving to work at back and haven't bought gas in 2 weeks. I still have 150 miles on the range and 3/8 of a tank left

Nothing fancy, yet. Weathertech mats front/back + their mud guards, some reflective striping and custom carpets on the storage bin lids underneath the jump seats.
Took a 80 mile country road drive last night with my girlfriend. We saw four deer, a live o'possum and hit a bat.
The cool sight was a displayed trip mpg avg. of 29.1 over the last 40 miles.
    That can't be right. LOL

Mileage was way down on last tank ... 15.9 ... on this tank it is 19.6 so far ... crazy how different it can be with a slight touch on that throttle ...

    What's your point?

The curve shows as many people report 15 as 23mpg, same with 16 and 22 mpg, 17 and 21, 18 and 20, average is 19.8. Kinda like a typical bell curve.

And that 233 vehicles owners reporting. Hardly the end all database.

2015 4.0 is 17.7.... By the end of summer it'll be 19.5. It's been going up for a while. Luckily I'm not on there because I have averaged 22 over the life of the truck.
