I'm honestly surprised it hasn't gotten locked yet. There's been some ridiculous shit in here! Although I don't think I've ever been a part of a locked thread, so that may be why my compass is off.

 

I'm trying not to let an A/C line get me banned lol.

 

If the posts in this thread were rated 1-10 on a scale of craziness, yours is a -532,189 so I think you're good! That number was based on a scientific formula and I totally didn't pull it out of my ass.

My A/C line issue is not isolated. Starting to think the bumper bracket is not extended far enough back and that's why washers are needed.

If you look at the ebay mounted picture



You can see it looks like the bumper is mounted more in the center of the slots. Mine looked the same way. Either the top of the bumper is a tad too short to the mounting plate, or the extension of the mounting face is a bit too short. Maybe a combination of both.

 

Well hopefully someone has installed this exact bumper (assuming they are all the same) and gets back to ya with a solution.
Sorry if I missed you saying this but have you owned the truck since new? I only ask cuz if now even with only 17,xxx miles there could have been an issue that got that line put back in a little different than stock. Just my 2 cents

 

The AC line problem is a minor issue, I personally would have gotten one of my 4" grinders out after determining there was no other way to mount the bumper properly, Wamma Bamma, some rustoleum paint on the exposed surfaces....done....but that is me, I tinker, thus I am....

I'm just going to chop and tunnel it. Make the tunnel first and then cut the notch to fit the tunnel.

Pretty simple to do, wasn't what I was prepared to do yesterday. Won' t be able to install it until at least next weekend anyway. Would prefer not to have to stack 1/2 -5/8" of washers on the 6 mounting studs, which is what it would take to gain the clearance shimming.
