About your bed cover - does it have the drain rails along the sides? If so, just wondering how well they stood up to having a load (or three) of wood bouncing around in the bed.

hey.moe, when doing the diff breather mod, do you have to change out the fitting on the diff or do you just attach your hose to the existing fitting with a hose clamp? ive seen pics of it done but no one said exactly whether or not they had to change anything. thanks

Yeah you got to ditch the check valve breather and buy Toyota part number 90404-51319 axle tube 5/16th breather barbed conector, and some 5/16th" emission line, with small hose clamps. Look up my post for pics.

I think ⅝" i.d. will fit over the stock drain, but I'd measure to be sure. Length is about 2 ft, depending on where you want it to exit.

Here's a link to a very good "how to" thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-differential-breather-mod-photos.111954/. It covers the whole process.

Most folks route the high end to the storage cubbie, the gas filler, or the tail light.

It's all a personal preference but i know if it were me i'd want fender flares .. if not you're going to be constantly getting dirt, gravel etc throwed down the sides of your truck with those tires sticking out like that.

Looks good. But that's why I put mud flaps back on my truck. Rocks were beating paint to death. And the littlest of mud covered the rock sliders.

Ya it does have the drain rails and I stack the wood so they don't interfere with them at all!
