I don't care about that. I just found my 2nd gen boring. There is nothing unique or special about it. Sub-par engine (not even counting the HG issue), basic interior, boring ride and not much fun factor. That's just my experience with it as I've owned a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and parents own a 4th. It was the least favorite of them all. The 1st has the removable top, 3rd is just nice to drive and sc capable, and 4th is amazing to drive and V8.

It was the 90's. Not like there was much special then

I would say it's pretty close. The front suspension on the 86 and up sucks for off-roading. The 22RE is legendary but so the 3.4. 3rd gen has a locker but no removable top.

Not every 3rd gen has a locker

Wait isn't the 86-89 suspension the same as the 90-95 other than the switch from leaf springs to coils? I like my suspension!

True but the option is there for the locker. The torsion bar suspension is hard to lift without losing flex and ride quality. Coil overs offer more customization

No doubt, but at least they had a decent stock lift
